I'm Salman El Fahfouhi a wood carver from Casablanca Morocco and the founder of Woodcarvingsart. I've started my own business in 2018, but before that I worked in different workshops and companies that makes furniture, i've learnt woodcarving's basics from some woodcarving's masters, as how to carve floral patterns, islamic geometric, chip carving and common designs and patterns that used for furniture here in morocco, it was nice to master this type of woodcarving but for me that wasn't enough i wanted more, something that I can be more creative in, that's when I began to carve wall hangings panels of landscapes, wood signs, lettering and arabic calligraphy etc... It was fun and challenging, full of creativity and imagination, I thought about quitting salary jobs and become my own business boss and do all the work process by myself, from buying wood to finishing and delivery, facing the challenges that come along everyday, So I did it and until the present moment i've never regretted that decision.
